Glenn started music in 1974 in Freehold Boro, playing piano and guitar. His influences are 70’s singer songwriter and yacht rock style bands: Paul McCartney, John Denver, Talking Heads, and Van Morrison are some of the artists you can expect to hear when you come to a show/gig. Whether it’s a honky tonk piano on Bad Leroy Brown or a screaming guitar on rocking in the free world, Glenn and the Eight Track Players offer an eclectic mix.

The music you remember, by a band you won’t forget.

Eight track players is a four piece band led by Glenn Lykes on piano and guitar, joined by a rotation of local musicians native to the Jersey Shore; Steve Paddock, George Ott , Billy Piscotta, Carl Spataro, Rob Dye, P.K. Lavengood, and Dan Boone. Eight Track Players have been playing music for crowds up and down the Jersey Shore since 2016, focusing on yacht style classic rock suitable for any venue.
